2 Days Full of Children in Hatay on June 17 and 18
Within the scope of the report card festival, this year, we met with our pre-school and primary school children in Hatay/Serinyol in order to reduce the negative impact of the earthquake, which had a base in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023 and caused destruction in 11 cities, on our children and to help them live, have fun and learn under normal conditions again.
As Buradayız Hatay Association, together with our volunteer expert trainers and volunteers who provide support in the activities to be carried out in the field, we held our workshops detailed below with our children between the ages of 4-11 on June 17-18, 2023.
The flow of our event, where we hosted 600 people including 300 children and their parents affected by the disaster, was as follows;
For 2 days, we organized workshops designed by experts for children. All children benefited from these workshops between 11:00-16:00 throughout the day. We had volunteer sisters and brothers accompanying the children in clown costumes. After the event, surprise gifts were distributed to the children.
