We celebrated March 8 International Women’s Day with a special event in Antakya Uzun Çarşı! 🎉 On this meaningful day, we distributed marteniçka bracelets, the symbol of the arrival of spring, to our women in Hatay.
Martenichka is an important tradition in Bulgarian and Balkan cultures. In this tradition, martenichka bracelets or decorations are worn in March and symbolize the arrival of spring and the renewal of life. These bracelets made of white and red threads carry wishes for health, happiness and long life. 🎀
By presenting a small gift to our women on this special day, we wanted to create smiles on their faces and share this meaningful day together. We will continue to support equality in all areas of life with all our strength. Together, we work for a more just and inclusive world.
